 This vintage Steiff jointed teddy bear is in very good condition for its age and appears to have been well taken care of.  The felt foot and paw pads show minimal wear with just a few minor spots/stains.  Mohair looks excellent and intact throughout surface of the bear, aside from minor areas of wear on the front right shoulder, back left shoulder, right side of snout below the stitched nose, right eye at seam, and the tops of his feet.  His ears are a bit folded but only add character to his sweet little face.  There is an area at the base of his right ear where a cotton stitch is coming loose, but the ear itself is still strongly attached and intact.   Dark brown cotton stitching on nose, mouth, paws and feet.  Jointed limbs move easily.  Stuffing firm.  There is no ear tag/button, but this bear was purchased from the estate of a Steiff collector and seems to fit all the criteria.  I will try and let the photos speak for themselves.  Please ask any questions prior to offerding and I will answer promptly to the best of my ability.  Thank you in advance for your interest!
