About 8 pounds of iron that would have been used to train a calf not to get too close to a fence or gate- the smaller iron rod would poke them if they did. Surface rusty and textured, one small rod broken off in the center. This would make an interesting pot rack if it was suspended by chains from the ceiling- also would look great with a lantern hanging on each end.
