ANTIQUE blank BULLET MOLD - vintage Cast Iron 1800\'s era - for Musket Balls ?:

Offered is an unusual Old cast iron \"bullet mold\" that was left blank
The mold end has no holes for bullets like you would typically see on one of these
The ball end is flat on the inside with no bore what so ever
It is approx. 1 1/8\" wide across the flat of the ball that would normally have the bore
overall the tool is 7\" long, the hinge is tight and it works smoothly
There is light rust pitting but the surface still looks nice,
I think this would date back into the 1800\'s era
it is a very well made antique tool
