Cristallerie de Voneche

circa 1800 - 1830

Beautiful set of two cut crystal (leaded glass) stems, c1800-1830. These have been
identified to me as Cristallerie de Vonêche, founded in 1778. The royal glassworks
served the nobility of France under the reign of Napoleon I. Financial difficulties
arose & the factory was purchased by Baccarat in 1831. Skilled workers from
Vonêche also joined Baccarat & gave rise to Val St Lambert Cristallerie.

The wine is 4-1/2\" tall & the champagne is 7\" tall.

Near mint condition. The wine stem has no damage at all. The champagne
has a few microscopic nips to the base (shown last photo below). There is
expected sitting wear underneath both bases. Absolutely Superb crystal!
