Really gorgeous William and Mary corner chair in excellent condition. Influences from French Provincial, Edwardian, and Federal styles, the seat is contoured and is upholstered in yellow, black, and white velvet fabric. There are carved wooden roses on the backrest, and the chair is on metal wheel castors. This chair is absolutely fabulous and we have loved it dearly. It was purchased from a much loved neighbor about 15 years ago. The cushioning is a little flat, and if you lean back in the chair, the pressure of your weight causes the ends of the arms to slip up from the upright legs/supports. This is not a defect in any way, and simply needs to be re-glued or fastened in some way. I hope it will bring as much joy to your household as it has to ours.
