This wonderful and dramatic black opal show an impressive play of colours. Rubover set in yellow gold, the opal is surrounded by 20 old cut diamonds in platinum. The beautiful pierced gallery leads to a simple D-shaped yellow gold band. Sits nice and low to the finger, meaning this most striking of rings is surprisingly easy to wear.

Cut – Oval cabochon black opal with old mine / miner cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are I.

Clarity – The diamonds range from VS t0 SI. All stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – An estimated 2.50 carat opal, with approximately 1.00 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1925.

Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The cluster is 20.7mm by 15mm and sits 5.7mm from the finger

Metal – 18k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in platinum.
