This is a lovely teapot by Arthur Wood & Son, StaffordshireEngland. It is done in a swirled ribbed styling with Mauve or Pink rosesnestled among green leaves.

Pattern is on both the front and back of the teapot. Lid has awhite finial and the pot itself is trimmed in gold around the scalloped edge ofthe teapot top opening and around the spout edge with an accent strip goingdown the handle.

Lid has a breather hole....

Teapot stands 6 7/8\" tall when measured to the top of thefinial on the lid...It is 9\" across the front from spout tip to outer mostpart of handle.

Pot is marked with the number 340 on the bottom and the ArthurWood backstamp.

The teapot is inexcellent condition. The lid has a fine line going completely across the topbut it seems to be under the glaze. Please see photos, they are part of the description!
