Pre-owned but in excellent condition. No scratches or marks on face. Made of stainless steel and yellow gold with a black satin strap, all of which contribute to the beauty of this signature timepiece. While it is extraordinarily elegant, it is also highly functional and practical. It has a quartz movement and is also water resistant. The movement is Swiss made (only the best from the House ofHermès) while the design and fabrication take place at their workrooms in Paris, France.
The face has a white background offering a nice contrast to the central gold sellier (Hermès signature nailhead used throughout its\' collections, dating to the company\'s inception as a luxury saddle maker). The hands are yellow gold with a fine white enamel stripe running down the center. The sellier center is engraved \"HERMES PARIS\" inside two concentric circles.
The Arabic numbers are are in black presented in an art-deco inspired style, making them easy to read against the contrasting white face, as are the numbers (while smaller) depicting the date. There is a raised ivory enamel circle at each number on the dial. The face is encapsulated by three rings: one is yellow gold in Hermès\' signature hand stitched motif encapsulated by two simple, elegant stainless steel bands. The stainless back is engraved with the Hermès Caleche logo with the words \"WATER RESISTANT * QUARTZ\". You will also find the serial number here: 445719L. The strap is made of black satin over leather (an after market addition containing no markings), with the original gold Hermès buckle closure. The stem has a raised \"H\" in Hermès\' signature font. The band is easy to switch out, making it a fun and versatile accessory.

The watch was purchased at an Hermès boutique and has only had one owner. It will arrive to you in the original Hermès watch case, made of a light grey suede exterior with Hermès signature contrast white stitching and a dark grey suede interior. The case closes with a hand-stitched Hermès signature tab and embossed with the words: \"HERMES horologer\".
This is the true definition of a timepiece. It is a wearable piece of art that just happens to keep time!
