EXCELLENT CONDITION! This is a nice old Vintage Corn Sheller marked \"RED CHIEF\" on the hopper, and \"17\" below the crankshaft. The wheel is marked \"GAISSER\'S IMPROVED CORN SHELLER MFG\'D BY THE RED CHIEF MFG CO LOUISVILLE KY PAT. NOV. 26, 95, AND NOV. 28, 99.\"It measures about 10\" tall, 8½\" wide and about 8½ deep. The S-shaped portion of the handle extends 9\" from the crankshaft, and the wooden handle portion is 4½\' long. The separating wheel is about 7½\" in diameter. It has been repainted and is in great shape. It has no broken teeth on the sheller and the wood handle is in almost perfect condition! I replaced the handle crank bolt with a new one, just like the original, and the other bolts look like original! This thing is as close to new as you will probably find for something over 100 years old.
