Awesome antique victorian cherub lamp, #2 of a matching pair listedearly 1900s******************This gorgeous antique victorian cherub table lamp is one of a matching pair listed. Please see my other listings for the other matching lamp. This listing is for one lamp only. The lamp stands 17 inches high to the top of the finial and is 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket and has a fancy cut glass and bead chain pull. The extremely pretty pierced brass shade ring is adorned with 31 strands of crystal lustres. These lustres are old fire polished crystals. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals.
The details on these lamps are exceptional. The main column is beautiful satiny twisted brass. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn\'t extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. I purchased the lamps at an antique shop in historic Guttenberg, NJ right on the Hudson River just across from the Empire state building and the New Freedom Tower.
