Darling Azurene Mink & Fox Cape

Rare style. A true heartbreaker! Luscious cream-to-ivory mink with subtle gray/taupe tones and striping is accented by the silkiest, fluffiest Norwegian fox collar. Great style: wide, mink-backed collar; hidden pockets; single hook closure; and arm slits. Pearly satin lining.

Size unmarked, so please go by the measurements: 26\" across the front panels at about bust level (includes arms); length in front at longest point, 22\"; length in back, 20\"; shoulders are up to about 16\"; length end to end, 52\". For reference, my mannequin is a tall size 4.

The fur is in excellent condition without guard hair wear or strong odors; the one reason this cape is priced low is that the fur has oxidized to an ivory sheen, and the oxidized tones are stronger on the sides of the stole (see last few photos), so it was probably hung on a rack between other items, exposing just the sides to more light or heat over time. The gradation from point to point is pretty subtle, so it can just look like the lighting; the color difference is most obvious when you place two areas of the stole next to each other. The lining\'s in great condition, no wear to the fabric and all seams intact; there are a few very small marks here or there and some faint smudging or age discoloration at the neckline and toward the bottom edges of the panels, not very noticeable. There\'s a large embroidered name on one panel. Overall, an incredibly cute and romantic piece in wonderful shape! Feel free to contact me with any questions!
