Abe\'s done a few of these compact, chubby, bent shapes so far, but this is the first one I\'ve ever seen rendered in strawberry wood. In fact, this is the first extensive use of the medium we\'ve even seen from Abe to date. The plump form of the Brandy bowl is accentuated by the tall, yet horizontally pinched transition and sleek, upward sweeping shank. Not only does it feel great in hand, but it\'s also quite an easy clench in the jaw. It\'s presented here in a crisp sandblast — bringing out strawberry wood\'s intriguing grain pattern — and topped with a tasteful cocobolo accent.
