I\'m not an expert in prints, but I believe this is an engraving of Abraham Lincoln by William Sartain based on an 1864 photograph by Anthony Berger of Matthew Brady\'s studio in Washington.


  • The Lincoln on the $5.00 bill has the same Berger image.


  • The print is titled \"Abraham Lincoln.\" and has the notation \"Engraved and Published by William Sartain, 728 Sansom St Phila\".

  • Looking through a magnifying glass, there are very sharp, clear lines on the image and background.


  • The print is excellent condition with slight age toning and measures 9\" x 11.5\" inside and 11.5\" x 13.5\" with margins.
