A beautiful, 41 year old museum quality meerschaum pipe, carved in a remarkable likeness of Abraham Lincoln. It was created in 1976 as part of an American Bicentennial pipe series; which featured meerschaum carvings of great American Presidents and patriots. The commemoration dates of 1776-1976 are carved on the pipe\'s shank (see photo).

Special note: I have been collecting meerschaum pipes for many years. I have seen other meerschaum pipes from the Bicentennial series; most notably Thomas Jefferson. But, this particular pipe is the only one of the Bicentennial Abe Lincoln meerschaums that I have ever seen. It will make a wonderful and rare addition to any pipe collection!

The warm patina of the colored meerschaum is complimented by a quarter bent acrylic stem with a beautiful butterscotch or caramel colored swirl. A unique and interesting twist pattern to the stem adds additional interest to this pipe.

This pipe smokes very well and is developing that cherished patina coveted by meerschaum collectors.
