This sale is open to international buyers. Here is a pristine example of a vintage Rogers COB Big R Dyna-Sonic snare drum. You will find this Fullerton era snare drum advertised in the 1977 Rogers catalog and listed as part #53-0514. The serial number is D700192, which would date this beautiful drum to 1977. Other than the heads (batter is new) and Pure Sound snare wires, this drum is original right down to the last tension rod washer. The 5\" X 14\" brilliantly chrome plated shell is in stunning condition. To be honest, I really could find no flaws with this drum. There are no dents, dings, or any other even minor flaws. I think it’s amazing that this drum has survived for 40 years in this kind of superb condition. Apparently, this time capsule never saw much action in all of those years and probably spent most of its life in a case.This remarkably preserved snare drum is in round, with perfect bearing edges. It comes equipped with 10 Rogers Beavertail lugs, 20 original tension rods and washers, 2 era correct Dyna-Sonic hoops and muffler assembly, as well as a perfectly operating Rogers Dyna-Sonic strainer and butt combination. It also has the original Rogers snare frame. As mentioned before, there are new replacement Pure sound (Dyna-Sonic) snare wires.
Bottom line, you won\'t find a nicer example of a Rogers Dyna-Sonic on the market anywhere and to say WOW when looking at this amazing drum is simply not at all overstating its amazing condition.
