Up for sale is a hand-painted, hand-coiled round art vase from Acoma pueblo. This striking piece has a white background and has traditional southwestern mimbres-style paintings of hummingbirds, lizards, quail, and rabbits, along with incredible border detail on top and bottom. The artist is P. Iule, it is signed on the bottom, and the date made is unknown; it is at least 15 years old. The piece is in excellent condition. If you collect Acoma pottery, this is a very unusual and hard to find Acoma design, with so many mimbres symbols on one piece. It is a truly stunning and artistic piece, with a beautiful \"flow\" to the designs. The colors are off-white, black, and deep terracotta. It measures 7-1/4\" tall and 7-1/4\" in diameter, and the opening on top measures just under 1-1/2\" in diameter. The base measures 3\" in diameter.
