This is a very well made baby doll sunsuit in a yellow cotton with white rickrack trim. There are 2 pockets in front also outlined in the rickrack and one pocket has an adorable handkerchief with a yellow and green flower embroidered in one corner. The top has a wide band that goes over the shoulders around to the back. This would have to be pinned shut for closure.

The waist is about14\" around. An estimate of the shoulder widthwould beabout 7\". From the shoulder to thepoint where the crotch folds,it measures about11\" and to the top part of the leg opening is about9\". I am guessing this would fit about an 18 to 20\" baby doll.

The condition is good for the age. This was probably made in the 1930s or 40s. The fabric isstill crisp and it looks like it has never been worn by a doll, but it has been stored for many years and there is a light dirt mark in the front and a tiny hole in the back. Iam presently listing a few otherVintage Baby Dollitems, pinafores, rompers and pajamas.

Pictures make the fabriclook wavy andstrange. The cotton almost looks like a silk moire, instead of cotton, but it is just the camera, not the fabric.
