Being offered for sale is this spectacular Aesthetic Victorian SolidWalnut & Burl walnutBookcase with a side cabinet, fancy galleryand 2 keys circa 1880\'s. This fine 19th century bookcase features incredible carvings and details and has its original old wavy glass,and we believe this piece to also have its original finish.The two tasseled keys works the locks, one for the bookcase portion and one for theside cabinet.The bookcase portion of this piece offersits four original adjustable shelves; the left side features a wonderful side cabinet with its gallery intact that has two small drawers a storage cabinet at the center with period brass pulls anddove-tailed ends on the drawers.Double casters are intact on the base to allow for easier movement within your home.This splendid bookcase is solid and tight and an excellent example ofthe Aesthetic Victorianera of design and is definitely a statement making piece. This bookcase is in wonderful antique condition and ready to be placed in your home to display that collections of books or special collectibles.
