From the late 1920\'s this is a story about a child who has to trade his possessions to tigers, the tigers eventually fight with each other, they chase each other around a tree until they melt into butter,and the butter is used for a huge pancake feast at the end of the story. The book is well read with pages 35-46 loose from the binding, some staining throughout the pages, butotherwise no markings and a nice vintage book with 27 great color illustrations.
