If you are a collector of Jay Strongwater, don\'t miss your chance to own the ultimate display piece! Custom designed by him for his display in Neiman Marcus, this elegant etagere was originally used in their Dallas NorthPark Center location. Made with the same quality and care as his collectibles, the case is in two pieces; the satin black wood base with crystal and enamel embellishments, crystal finial on the leg stretchers and chrome capped feet, and the ribbed steel (it is silver not gold as it looks in some of the photos due to lighting) and glass case. The glass is all beveled on the side and top panels. The front and back side are open. There are three 3/4\" thick glass shelves (only two are shown in position in the photos. The third is resting on the bottom of the case but we do have the custom shelf supports for it). Because this was made for retail display and not public sale, it is not signed by Mr. Strongwater. I purchased it directly from the Neiman Marcus Visuals Department when they were redoing store displays and I guarantee its authenticity. It is a massive and heavy piece, probably about 500 lbs. altogether, therefore local pickup only.

SIZE: 7\'8\" tall by 4\'3\" by 2\'2\". The base is 30\" tall

CONDITION: The piece was made for retail display and has minimal wear considering. The glass has some scratching both on the shelves and a couple of side panels. There is one chipped piece of glass on a side panel but it\'s hardly noticeable. I\'m not sure what the material is on the bottom of the inside of the case but it has the texture of soft leather. It has a section that is scuffed. The base is in good condition with some paint loss mostly where the wood is joined due to being moved. The enameled embellishments are all intact. The photos don\'t do the piece justice as the lighting was challenging. It is in a public place and can be viewed in person. I\'m happy to send any additional photos if interested.
