A quilt that has a pattern of the rose of sharon, but the pattern has faded out and only the leaves are left to see. These leaves look like turkey tracks to me!
This quilt has a slightly off white background.
The initials, LMD, is embroidered in one corner.
It is masterfully hand quilted at 10-12 stitches per inch, with fancy feathered wreaths and wonderful patterns throughout.
It is expertly hand appliqued.
Thin, smooth batting.
Hand bound.
Measures 87\" x 86\"
Very good condition.
There is fading throughout the appliqued flowers, binding wear, faint age tanning, there are several small and very light pinkish color bleeding spot, a light age spots that range from rice size to a little bigger than silver dollar size, and on the back there is very light tanning. (See photos.)
A quilt to use and enjoy.
