Amazing Restored 8 Day Black Forest German Cuckoo Clock W/squirrels- Beautiful For Sale
Up for sale, we have probably the prettiest Black Forest German cuckooclockwe've restored so far. It's an 8 day clock, which means you only have to pull the weights up once a week instead of every day. It's fairly large and the entire case has been covered in dark wood shingles. The carving is amazing, with grape leaves, the two squirrels, and on the crown are leaves and a large bird. The Regula 8 day movement has been cleaned and oiled and runs very well on a pair of heavy 1500 gram weights. It cuckoos and gongs on the hour and half hour. I'm not sure of the age, but it is an exquisite clock. The pictures say it all. The dimensions are 16" X 13" X 7" including the crown. This is a beautiful clock that would make a wonderful addition to any home. It's a work of art! Please let us know if you have any questions or would like additional photos.
