Offered here is an extraordinary c. 1890s Victorian Mourning Cape.Black Silk, Soutache Trim and Lace.High Ruffled Neck, It is simply exquisite. Very sturdy and wearable. One tear in the silk on the interior of the back of the neck, but isn\'t visible upon wearing.Approximately 17\" around neck, 18\" total length.Please see pics carefully as all vintage clothing items are sold AS-IS.It\'s fascinating to think about who wore this cape over one hundred years ago.
