This Fostoria American Nappy is listed in my reference book as the 5 1/2 inch Flared Nappy with Handle. That reference indicates this piece was produced by Fostoria from 1915 to 1944. My ruler indicates the piece is very slightly less than 5 1/2 inches across the top. The flared rim stands about 1 3/8 inches high ant the circular base is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

I must assume that this piece has been used in the past however I find no chips, flakes,cracks or \"bites\" on it.

I typically ship via FedEx Smart Post or USPS Parcel Select as they are the least costly means I have found. I do check alternative means of shipping once I have the new owners zip code. Proximity and weight can sometimes make other shipping means more practical.
