This is a very nice AMERICAN STONEWARE SALT GLAZE COBALT BLUE Canning Jar, CIRCA 1870, UNMARKED. It boasts a beautiful full front Cobalt Blue Tulip Design inside a large circle. It is unmarked. MEASURES 9\" T x 19\" around (at the widest part) x 4\" across the top. Weight is about 8 lbs. Has a small chip on the outer rim and one on the bottom edge as shown above. CROCK IS SOLID. The pictures are the best description so please review them carefully. An exceptional piece for your collection!NOTE: This crock is from a retired antique dealer\'s estate in east Texas. It was from his personal collection, along with several other similar crocks, which I will be listing very soon (or may have already listed). These have been in storage for at least 60 years, and just need a good home from someone who can truly appreciate their history and value.
