An imperial Chinese porcelain dragon dish, Qianlong mark and period (1735 - 1795), Qing dynasty, interior well of the shallow dish decorated with a writhing five-paw dragon picked out in red enamel and reserved on a ground of cobalt blue cresting sea waves, all within a thin double ring border repeated on the rim; exterior decorated with nine dragonsof red enamel body and cobaltblue paws all in different styles and positions on a ground of cobalt blue sea waves, the base bearing a six-character Qianlong seal mark in under-glazed blue
