This piece is exquisite. The band is in round and features both exposed metal and an excellent patina, The stone is absolutely beautiful and is in amazing condition. The work done by the ancient artisan to set the stone is clearly visible and is quite impressive. The ring is U.S. size 5.25
My love for these items lies in holding them, viewing them and trying to feel the history.When I look at an item like this ring, I wonder who used it, when and for what purpose.Did the daughter of a Roman governor wear it to public functions?
