Rare Angelo Minghetti Italian Figurine

This listing is forawonderful figurine by Angelo Minghetti of Italy. This piece measures approximatley 6 3/4\" tall, 3 1/4\" wide, and 3\" deep. The insideis signed Bologna AM Made In Italy\".We are not sure if this was originally intended to be a bell because it is bell shaped and there is a porcelain bridge inside the lady from which a bell could easily be hung.

Although there are no cracks and no major damages, there are some little rough areas. They are all pretty small and barely noticed except when running a finger along the piece. We have not handled pieces by this company before and we don\'t know if these are just pops in the glaze or little damages, but we have provided closeup photos of what we found by inspecting this figurine very carefully. The spots we found are as follows: the top of the headdress, there is a pinhead pop at the top of the woman\'s forehead, herright sleeve has a smallelongated white patch,one corner ofher book is slightly rough, along a fold of her headdress in the back,and an edge of the green ruffle of her dress.We are trying to be as accurate as humanly possible, but really this piece is in nice condition for its age.
