These little angel lady is multi-functional!! She is both a votive, where you can put a little votive candle in her base, and her skirt lights up via holes in her skirt, and she can be used to hold a smaller taper candle in her halo. She is beautiful used either or both ways. She looks as radiant, on a mantle, as a votive, as she does adorning a festive table, as a taper.

Born to artistic parents in rural South Carolina, Jim Shore grew to love the techniques and traditions found in American folk art. His grandmother, a master quilter, helped him develop an understanding of the patience, skill, and artistic merit found in the craft of quilting. And from her inspiration, he took the love of patterns and colors to develop his own unmistakable artistic style. Combining techniques from quilting, rosemaling, tole painting, appliqué, and flat perspective folk art, Jim applies his distinctive look to a wide line of collectibles, decorative accessories, and functional home décor.
