Front and back covers are scuffed and heavily marked and stained; the spine is divided into six compartments decorated ingilt but is significantly faded and scuffed.

Corners are bent and frayed.

The joints are cracked but boards are attached.

Inside:

The title page is inscribed.

There is some staining to various sections of the book, largely contained to the top margin - presumably caused by damp. Otherwise there is sporadic brown blemishing.

Toning to the pages with the occasional page suffering from heavy offsetting but all pages separate and legible.

The book appears complete and all pages are tightly bound at the gutter.
