This is a beautiful
ART NOUVEAU PYROGRAPHY BOX.
It was probably used for gloves or handkerchiefs.
The length is 11 1/2\", the width 5 3/4\" and the height
is 2 1/4\". It is lined with a soft satin like material. There
are two small brass hinges. The condition is excellent.
Over time the outside has faded and is not as vivid as
the inside. This is a type of folk art which was very
popular during the early 1900\'s.
