This is fabulous looking older set by Farber Bros. It appears to be a somewhat rare set, as I have not been able to locate anything similar. The company was established in New York City in 1915; and they produced Krome Kraft pieces from the 1930\'s through 1950. The beautifully colored glass bottles are fitted with metal decorative trim, and were made by Cambridge Glass Company. Each of the bottles has a clear glass stopper with a ball shaped top.This set makes an absolutely wonderful appearance as it looks cleanly detailed, in deep rich colors. The carrier was made so the bottles, complete with stoppers, fit snugly into metal domes at the top of the piece. There is a screw which can be manually turned to open the carrier, and release the bottle stoppers, and there is a handle for carrying atop the metal carrier. Overall, I would say, the condition is very good. There are 2 small issues, but nothing serious or troublesome. The blue decanter has 2 small chips on the rim, as seen in photos 7 and 8. The carrier has some wear to the bottom surface in one spot, luckily it does not show because a bottle sits atop of it (photos 10 and 11). Otherwise, I am comfortable saying that it is in very good condition. Each bottle stands 8 and a 1/4 in tall with the ball shaped stopper in place; and the carrier stands 9 in tall by 12 and a 1/4 in long. A set such as this one is highly collectable, and not easy to find. It will look great at a bar, or on the table when entertaining guests.
