Up for sale is a pair of Grimwades BYZANTA FAIRYLAND PLATES - the pattern shows butterflies and flowers against a beautiful blue background, there are also colors of pink, yellow, green
there are three butterflies on each plate
these plates display beautifully - the lustre is opalescent - gorgeous
One plate is perfect with a bit of gilt wear on the rim
the matching plate has a chip on the back (1 cm) which is not evident when displayed

it has the black Byzanta \"Ware\" mark on the back
Plate Diameter: 7-2/8\"

I have not seen a pair of matching plates come up for sale often

This is a great addition to a Byzanta Fairyland Lustre Porcelain collection
