Antique women\'s leather shoes......early 20th century. From T E Moseley and Co. of Boston; from an estate sale originating from Worcester, Mass.
Beautiful, possibly wedding slippers. In very sound condition, pretty well represented in the photos. Leather has light soiling at tip of toes but has no tears. Leather is intact at back of heels, with some light soiling. They have silk satin bows with mother of pearl buckles. 5 and 1/2 is written at the toe tip of sole of one shoe, maybe the size. Measurements are: insole is 9.5\" from tip of toe to back heel; widest point across bottom sole of foot measures 2.25\". Heel is approx. 1.25\" at center back.
