Beautiful Hand Painted George Borgfeldt(Coronet) Limoges France Decorative Cabinet Plaque Plate with Gold Trim. White-Breasted Game Birds(Chukar Partridge) along with White Flowers in Light Green Grasses Background. Signed & Painted by Artist L. Coudert.
L. Coudert is one of very few critically recognized artists at Borgfeldt’s porcelain decorating studio in Limoges. His signature appears clearly at the bottom left of the plaque.
Markings:
There is a green stamped mark on the bottom of this Decorative Wall Plaque Plate.The green\"LIMOGES CORONET FRANCE\" overglaze decorating mark, circa after 1906-1920.
Conditions:
Excellent Pre-owned Antique Condition. No Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Hairlines, Crazing or Repairs.Some wear to gold rim. Minor wear to paint, scratches and utensil marks. There is a hole on foot for wall hanging.
