Large Antique 16\" (40.6cm) Bisque Head German
Armand Marseille My Dream Baby or Baby Phyllis.
This Sweet Baby Has a Cloth Torso with Cry Box
(that no longer works)
She hasComposition Arms & Legs.
She is well love and has some imperfections.
If you restore antique dolls she would not be a difficult fix
However if you don\'t mind imperfections because it
shows history then she wants to come home with you.

She is not marked with a mold number that I can see

MATERIAL:
She is a bisque head baby with a cloth torso body
& composition arms & legs.
EYES:
She has antique stationary brown glass blown eyes
FACE & FEATURES:
She has a closed mouth, rosy cheeks & molded hair
Circa:
Early 1900\'s
HEIGHT:
16 in / 40.6cm tall
CLOTHING:
Her clothing is of course not original and is more modern
but I thought she looked cute in this red teddy bear print romper.
On her feet she wears pink vintage knitted booties.
DOLL CONDITION:
She is a very lovely baby doll with a very beautiful face
but she has a few imperfections.
She has a hairline on the right side of her head.
It has not been repaired.
Her head was perfect when I purchased her but the person
who shipped her to me, did not pack her head properly
& it hit againstanother dolls head.
I was so angry but she was so cute
I kept her
I thought I would have her restored but I never did.
I dressed her and enjoyed her as is.
She also has paint flaking on both her composition arms & legs.
Her right arms has crazing at the top &
her left leg has cracking & lifting
& her cry box no longer works.
If you restore antique dolls
then she would be a wonderful doll for you,
however if you don\'t mind imperfections, like me,
you cover the flaws with clothing and she will look perfect.
It shows that she was well loved & has history!
She is a very nice Antique Doll and would
be a lovely addition to your Antique collection.

Started by Armand Marseille in 1865, the company didn\'t make dolls until approximately 1885. Armand Marseille, Jr. was at the head of the company for the majority of the company\'s doll making years
