Antique 1850-1860s CARVED Powder HORN Pre Civil WAR

Antique 1850-1860s CARVED Powder HORN Pre Civil WAR - a great powder horn - nice shape and classic design. The plug is not present- could be made from wood or cork. We sell items just as found. It is in good aged early condition with nice patina- there are some minor worm holes (one on the horn itself and a small edge chip where the horn meets the wood base - see photos) and surface wear as expected. The length form top to end along the side is approx 6 6/16\"and the measurement if the horn is standing is approx 4 6/16\" from bottom to top- this is where the measurement is done from bottom to top and not along side the horn. The base where the wood end is approx 2.5\" wide.
