Late 17th early 18th Century Oyster Veneer Lace Box:

A beautiful oyster veneered lace box, dating to the late 17th early 18th century. The body of the box is constructed from Pine, with the veneer covering, which has been cut by saw and consequently is thick. The interior has been applied with a simple red wash. The hinges are original and are fitted beneath the veneer. It measures 9 1/2\" or 24 cm long, 7 3/4\" or 19.5 cm wide, is 2 5/8\" or 67 mm tall and for its age is in good condition.
