Antique 18th Century Chippendale Brass Pair of Andirons Ball and Claw Feet 22\" tall
Stunning antique from 18th centurypair ofbrass Chippendale andirons.They have typical cabriole legs with ball and claw on the bottom.They are very tall (22\").They are made from brass and over the years they developed beautiful antique patina.Excellent craftsmanship.The shanks are made of cast iron.Theandirons are very heavy and sturdy (each andiron weighs 10 lbs.).Eachandiron is 22\" tall and 10½”\" wide.Thetotal length is 19\" (from the front to the end of the cast iron shanks).
Condition:

Greatcondition, no damage or repair. The brass has beautiful old patina. I wiped andirons onlywith a wet cloth to clean from thesootbefore I put them on sale anddidn\'t use brass cleaner in order to preserve the patina.
