Antique German baptism certificate. The litho was \"copyrighted 1877 and published by Lauer & Mattill, Cleveland Ohio\" Also marked \"Johns & Co. Lith, Cleveland, O.\"Beautiful, colorful litho includes the Bible verse Mathew 28:19 which says (translated) \"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit\". Written in what I believe is pencil in a fancy script is the name of the baptised, the date January 24, 1895. Also written below is the date January 29, 1896. The litho itself measures about 14 x 20, while the frame is 23 x 17. There are fake flowers glued to the bottom right corner of the frame. There are small chips on the corners of the frame but overall it is in great condition. Glass is intact as well. The back is secured by wood and 2 metal rings hold a wire for hanging on the wall.
