I really don\'t know much about old violins, but I will try to describe everything to the best of my knowledge and ability. IF ANYONE CAN HELP OUT WITH MORE INFO ABOUT THIS INSTRUMENT, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.This instrument is in great cosmetic condition for the age. Amazingly, I don\'t see any cracks! Thereis a very very little separation between the bottom and the ring (see image around the back of the instrument). this is veryeasy fix. The back of the violin is in excellent shape, with no damages or repairs. I noticed, the fingerboard was reglued to the neck (don\'t know when).

There is no label inside. However, there is a hand written signature on the inside back part (see images). I have a hard time to decipher, but it starts Ibelieve with letterM, than U, then I think N.....I am not 100% sure. At the end there is a year 1825. So, once again...if anyone out there knows the maker, signature, etc and is willing to share the knowledge, I would really appreciate it.Violin is 23.5\" in length overall and 14\" just the box.
