An early court house steps log quilt with a vast assortment of prints. Many browns. The center pieces are double pink and postage stamp size.
A graphic beauty with a sunshine shadows pattern. With the use of light and dark fabrics the pattern comes to life!
Measurements: 90 x 75 inches
Hand quilted 6 stitches per inch. Edges are turned and hand sewn. Batting is thin. Hand pieced.
There\'s age and water spotting in places. Most on front.
Crisp, never used or washed.
Circa 1860/70s era
Just found from a Pennsylvania estate.
Boxed weighs 5 pounds.
First time listed to the quilt market :)
