-Antique OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS Authorized King James Version Holy Bible, large family bible, a black-letter reference edition. Cover size is approx. 11.4\" x 9.25\" x 3\".Typography details of: [Pica Post 4to. Refs.] , as shown on the title page. Covering looks to be genuine leather over thick stiff boards. Does not contain the Apocrypha Books.
A beautiful old large Oxford Bible in my opinion. Of course it has been well-used and has much wear, as should be expected. Looks to be complete, with the bible text pages all attached. Pages are generally bright & clean considering its age. Hinges are holding but worn and will need some attention. See photos. I would recommend some reinforcement with good binding tape for the inside of the hinges.I don\'t try to describe every relatively \"minor\" flaw or condition that might be found in an old used bible. Because they obviously will have some significant wear & tear over many years, it should be expected. I do look for what I think are the more serious issues & conditions in my opinion. If you have any questions/concerns, please ask before offerding/purchasing.
-SHIPPING is via USPS. This large, heavy book will be shipped via MEDIA MAIL unless Priority Mail is requested at additional expense. I do packcarefully, and this item will be packed properly inside a box. I normally ship on Monday through Friday 12 noon MDT.
