Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Original Authentic Antique French Military Chassepot Bayonet Sword, made in France, in 1869. This is an Original Bayonet and Has a Heavy Brass Handle. The Cross Guard is signed R2094. The Bayonet measures approx. 27 1/4\" Long with 22 1/2\" Blade. The Blade is signed with some makers mark stamps, and also dated 1869. This has the Original Scabbard, as pictured. This is in Good Original condition. The Button on the Handle is Missing, as Pictured, Otherwise fine! Click and Enlarge Photos for Details.
