Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Original Authentic Antique French Military Chassepot Bayonet Sword, made by St. Etienne & Cie France, in 1871. This is an Original Bayonet and Has a Heavy Brass Handle. The Cross Guard is signed M33751. The Bayonet measures approx. 27 1/2\" Long with 22 5/8\" Blade. The Blade is signed with some makers mark stamps, and also it is signed on the edge \"St. Etienne & Cie 1871\". This has no Scabbard, as pictured. This is in Great Original condition!
