This is a very heavy, rustic quilt in a brick pattern. It has been stitched with white thread and tied, instead of quilted, with red thread.
Embroidered in one corner: 1879
Date not guaranteed to be correct, but there\'s no real reason to doubt it.
Fabrics are wool blends -- heavy fabrics of black, gray, and beige.
Condition: Excellent -- very little wear -- does have one small hole on the back.
