Description

Fine example of English late 19th century aesthetic period design. One pitcher/jug, two mugs and tray. Original set had third mug which I do not have. Made for Caldwell, Philadelphia.

SIZE: Measurements are approximate. Tray ~ 12\" at widest point. Pitcher ~ 6 1/2\" tall. Mugs ~ 3 3/4\" tall.

MARKS: Royal Worcester marks and date code \"R\" for 1880. Made for Caldwell, Philadelphia mark. Tray also have embossed mark.

CONDITION: Antique item. Third mug is missing. Some of the small flaws (marks on white ground) are as made, typical of wares of this period. A few, like the small area of wear on the gold rim of the tray, are due to age and use. All in all, the condition is extremely good. Great presentation piece for display or use. Pricing reflect the fact that a mug is missing and that you may just wish to use the pitcher and the 2 mugs.
