For your consideration is this original 1882 GAR medal set from the 16th Annual Encampment held in Baltimore on June 21-23. Made by John G Mengel of Baltimore. Interesting design, the medals are in EX condition and I believe this might be the original frame. The frame is coming apart and will need some TLC from the new owner. A scarce set in the best condition that I have seen of these particular medals. It measures 9.75\" by 9.5\". A great set for your collection.
