Charming smallish 1890\'s porcelain antique pitcher, styled like the really big ones for the boudoir, but more practical for the table. This pitcher was made by The Cook Pottery Company of Trenton, New Jersey who used the mark on this pitcher which is circle enclosing the combined names of Etruria and Mellor & Co. Beautiful white, elegant, authentic period design. Measures approximately 7 1/2\" to the top of the handle and the circumference around the widest point is about 18\". Holds over 4 cups liquid. Condition: The gold design encircling the body of the pitcher is totally intact while the trim around the opening and handle is slightly worn and there is a small chip with 5/8\" hairline crack on the tip of the spout (see photo). I do not see any crazing. Inside also very white-no staining. All in all, a very nice addition for your antique collection.
