This 18k solid gold pocket watch weighs in just under .6 ounces -- and it should be considered as a work of art in addition to its other more tangible characteristics. The Bow is also solid gold. While one can see the shield for the solid gold marking and hallmark, it either was not stamped deeply enough or has worn off over time, or most likely some combination of both.
